2007...so far so good (knock on wood ;)

On January 29th, W.C. Fields, John D. Rockefeller Jr., Oprah Winfrey AND JOSIE ILLER were born!
Josie turned the big 3 today. She wore a pink tutu and homemade cupcake shirt to preschool today and partied with her classmates and her boyfriends Tyler and Connor-Boy (that's what she calls him). She also got some neat e-cards, phone calls, serenades and funny voice-mails from her Aunts, Uncles, grandparents and cousins and lots of cool presents: a snow-saucer, a Pee Wee's playhouse playset, Go Diego Go action figures, a big plush Dora doll, Disney princess art set and fancy armoire, a funny monkey clock, a ride-on police motorcade-type bike, a play-doh toy set that squishes & mooshes and a prayer book with pictures of her family near and far...and lots more - she did good!

Archie has been doing well, he is still battling reflux but other than that he is staying healthy and is babbling and goo-gooing up a storm - looks like some more teeth are on the way too...we are still trying to get him to sit up and stay up, he is still on oxygen and the feeding tube too but in just a few short months he will be a year old and we consider that the BIGGEST milestone!

Chris is getting ready for 'sweeps', a very busy time of year in the TV business...he's even in a TV commercial promoting one of his sweeps contests.

Robin is still playing ringmaster in the daily health insurance, doctor, and therapist circus but as long as everything is running smoothly she doesn't have to crack her whip too often! Guilty pleasures...American Idol (until the auditions are over) and "House" on FOX.

That's it for now...don't forget to check out all of our new pictures under the "Photos" section and songs under the "Music" section!

Archie Update

Archie had a cardiology appointment today and his ticker is looking good! We were also given permission to lower his oxygen from 1 liter to 3/4 liter because the viagara is keeping his pulmonary hypertension at bay...he also had an echocardiogram and his cardiologist was very pleased with what she saw...the only bad news is that he is still spitting up and still teething and he got his Synagis shot for RSV today, but he got a Dora band-aid that big sister Josie liked! :( We also have to make a hard decision soon on where we should take Archie to have his homograft replaced....one cardiologist is recommending Lucille Packard Children's Hospital in Stanford, California.

We got a second opinion from another cardiologist who feels it can be replaced here in New Mexico by the one and only cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon in the whole state! So, its going to be a tough call because we want whats best for Archie but we dont want our family to be separated for months on end...so we have a lot to think about!
